History

In 1974, New Life Transport Parts Center (“New Life”) was formed as a subsidiary of American Natural Resources, Inc. (“ANR”), a conglomerate listed on the New York Stock Exchange, in its transportation division.

In 1983, Robert L. Hinton (“Bob”) purchased the business from ANR in a leveraged buyout, and made it a family owned and run business, owned today principally by Bob and his two children. At the time, New Life had sales of $9 million and 19 employees.

Bob's personal goal was to own and maintain a family business for the long-term. Over the next 35 years, through both organic growth and acquisitions, New Life and its affiliates have become the largest trailer aftermarket parts business in the industry.

By focusing on growth, financial stability, and family values, Bob built a business with unsurpassed service, product offerings, and people, with a reputation for quality that has become the industry standard. The company delivers most of its product with its own delivery equipment, with fill rates much higher than the industry standard.

In 2017, Bob passed on President and CEO responsibilities to Robert Lindley (“Robert”) who leads New Life today. Bob remains active as Chairman of the Board.

Under Robert's leadership, the mission of New Life remains the same: to remain a family-owned business, focused on reliably furnishing quality parts, at competitive prices, on time, with integrity, both now and in the future.

Our goal, always, is to help make our customers successful, knowing that our success will follow.

Thank you for allowing us to bring “New Life” to your transportation equipment.
